For those of you who are thinking of bringing a gift, here is some information about what we are most in need of, as well as a little bit about our preferences. Due to popular demand, we have created a registry at Macy's for silverware, dishes, pots and pans, and a few other things. You are welcome to choose something from the registry, but do not feel limited by it.
We have a great love of kitchen items made from traditional materials such as wood, glass, ceramic, stainless steel, and cast iron, rather than plastic or teflon materials. Plus, they seem to hold up a better against the ravages of time and loving use.

• A couple of nice houseplants to liven things up
• Egg beaters/immersion blender
• One of those handy wall mounted magnetic knife holders
• A drying rack for clothing
