Lucy and Tim are getting married 'in the care' of Lucy's childhood (Friends) Quaker Meeting. They are holding an unprogrammed Quaker Ceremony. This may be unfamiliar to many of you. There is no planned program for the event, and there will be no officiant for the ceremony. Quakers do not have a clergy to perform such duties. Instead, Tim, Lucy, and you, our Friends-and-Relations share the responsibilities of officiating, worshiping together, and witnessing the ceremony. Afterwards, all those present are asked to sign the Marriage Certificate as witnesses to the ceremony.
